A convenience store in Loyalhanna Township was destroyed by fire over the weekend.
The Trib reports that the fire was reported Friday night at Marshall’s Market. Fire crews from Westmoreland and Indiana Counties were called to the scene. No word yet on the cause of the fire, but no one was hurt. Those living in an apartment in the rear of the building were displaced, but are getting assistance from the Red Cross.
It’s unclear when the market will reopen, according to the store’s Facebook page.
