A Harrison man will stand trial on charges of forgery, receiving stolen property and access device fraud for using a stolen drivers license and bank card to take over $7,000.
The Trib reports that other charges were dropped against 57-year-old Rodney Gaschler. He waived his right to a preliminary hearing to the remaining charges. The victim reported the thefts from his personal and business bank accounts on October 16th. Two weeks before, his vehicle was broken into and his wallet was taken. Gaschler then allegedly went to the bank and presented the teller with a withdrawal slip.
Gaschler is free on his own recognizance, with a formal arraignment set for January 10th.
