A former state trooper who served out of the New Stanton barracks was ordered to serve 23 years in federal prison for child pornography charges.
The Trib reports that Sean R. McKenzie will also serve 25 years of supervised release after his prison term is complete. An investigation began in 2021 when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received information that 215 images of child pornography had been uploaded to a computer traced to an internet account at McKenzie’s home address in Perryopolis. It is unclear where he will serve his sentence.
