Students at Greensburg-Salem Elementary Schools will receive individualized help as part of a new program.
The Trib reports that this comes after 2 out of 21 groups in grades K-8 last school year met or exceeded the district goal of having 70% of students demonstrate expected individual growth in language arts and math.
Lenni Nedley, director of curriculum and federal programs, said changes are being made at district schools to move closer to the student growth goal. A half-hour will be set aside for the personalized assistance.
