A New Florence man is charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats and other offenses for a domestic incident Saturday night.
The Trib reports that police were called to 19th Street in New Florence around 9:15 PM for the incident where 26-year-old William Jacob Teeter allegedly threatened people with a claw hammer. While a trooper talked Teeter into letting go of the hammer, he reportedly threatened to assault the trooper and during a struggle between the two, Teeter allegedly bent the trooper’s thumb backward.
He is now in Westmoreland County Jail on $250,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is set for January 19th.
