A Plum man is facing charges for allegedly preventing hospice workers from caring for his father.
Local police arrested 56-year-old Kevin Michel following an incident at his father’s Garlow Boulevard home on Tuesday. An on-call nurse from the father’s hospice care company told officers that Michel threatened three staff members earlier in the day and chased them off of the property.
Michel is facing a list of counts including neglect of a care-dependent person. He is in custody at the Allegheny County Jail and is scheduled to appear in court on the 24th.
