YUKON RESIDENTS UNHAPPY WITH PROPOSED SETTLEMENT

A Group of Yukon residents are not happy with a proposed settlement regarding allegations that polluted dust and odors from a nearby hazardous waste landfill has hurt their quality of life since 2014.  The Trib reports that a meeting was held last night led by county Judge Harry Smail, Jr. to receive input from residents about the settlement with MAX environmental technologies out of Pittsburgh.  Some residents said that their share of the settlement will not cover anything they lost.
