A Jeannette man will remain in custody after state police said he brought a gun with him to work and pointed it at a co-worker at a Hempfield restaurant. The Trib reports that 18-year-old Isaiah Niehenke was arrested Saturday on charges of aggravated assault, carrying a gun without a license, terroristic threats and other crimes related to the incident at the Wendy’s in Hempfield. A witness said that he brandished the gun on January 24th around 11:30 PM. When police interviewed him, he said that he discarded the gun in a field in Jeannette after hearing he lost his job, then said that he traded the gun for some THC Vape cartridges. Bond was denied and a preliminary hearing is set for February 6th.
