State police have charged a Hempfield woman with Homicide By Vehicle while DUI for the fatal crash in September of 2022 that killed one woman. The Trib reports that 24-year-old Breanne Weber is in Westmoreland County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bond for the crash that killed 73-year-old Betty Wagner. Police said Weber drove across the center line and collided with Wagner’s vehicle nearly head-on. A toxicology report showed Weber had amphetamine, methamphetamine, xylazine, fentanyl, and norfentanyl in her system. A February 13 preliminary hearing is set.
