ARNOLD MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO LESSER CHARGE

An Arnold man pleaded guilty to a lesser charge connected with the fatal shooting of a man at a New Kensington Apartment Building in July of 2022.  The Trib reports that 19-year-old Jonathan Felder had a charge of criminal homicide dismissed in exchange for a guilty plea to conspiracy to commit robbery.  He was one of seven youths charged in the killing of 39-year-old Jason Raiford at the Valley Royal Court Apartments.  Felder was among the group who police said surrounded Raiford and demanded money for a drug debt before he was pistol whipped and shot 11 times, including multiple rounds to his back as he lay on the ground.
