LV POLICE TO PROVIDE SECURITY AT FIRSTENERGY MEETING

A member of the Ligonier Valley Police Department will provide security for an upcoming meeting being held by FirstEnergy.  The Trib reports that the Ligonier Valley Police Commission approved sending the officer to the meeting on Wednesday in Ligonier Township.  FirstEnergy plans to present information and accept input about four routes it is considering for a power line from Derry to Ligonier from 6 to 8 p.m. in the R.K.
