A South Huntingdon man was arrested on Saturday night after he lead police on a 15-mile chase. The Trib reports that police observed a car driven by 18-year-old Ridge Teeters was going 90 miles an hour in a 55 mile an hour zone near the Mt. Pleasant exit on Route 30 west in Hempfield. Police say he made obscene gestures to them during the chase that went through Hempfield, South Greensburg, Mt. Pleasant Township and East Huntingdon. The chase ended when police used a PIT maneuver in the area of Old Route 119 and Sand Hill Road in East Huntingdon. Police believe he may have been on drugs at the time, and he was found with marijuana in the car. Teeters is free on $5000 bond, with a preliminary hearing is set for February 21st.
