A Westmoreland County Judge is granting an appeal on harassment citations for Rostraver Commissioner John Lorenzo. Judge Richard McCormick upheld one conviction and dismissed two other citations during a hearing yesterday, ordering Lorenzo to pay a 25-dollar fine. The commissioner was found guilty of harassment for allegedly slapping another official and verbally abusing the township manager during a community Halloween party in 2022. Lorenzo was selected by Republicans for one of three commissioner seats in the May primary and ran unopposed in the November election, now serving in his second term.
