North Huntingdon Commissioners rejected plans for a multi-use field at the township’s Oak Hollow Park. The Trib reports that Commissioners decided not to apply for a $500,000 grant to the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources after saying that the anticipated $3 million price tag was too much. The plans included a natural turf field, electronic scoreboard, concession stand and bathrooms, an expanded parking lot, football goal posts and bleachers.
