OFFICIALS IN MURRYSVILLE GIVE GO-AHEAD FOR TEMPORARY FRACKING PIPE SYSTEMS

Local officials in Murrysville are giving the go-ahead for some temporary fracking pipe systems. Council members approved agreements allowing the Olympus company to put in gas and water lines last week. One of the water lines will run to the Athena well pad in Washington Township and another water line will be run with gas lines between the Hephaestus well pad in Upper Burrell and the Hermes well pad near Plum. A specific construction start date has not been announced.
