The cases of two women charged with assaulting three students are headed to Westmoreland County Common Pleas Court. The Trib reports that the preliminary hearings were held yesterday for Brooke Stanko of Derry Township and Teri Kepchia of Hempfield. The two are charged with spraying lemon juice and soap into the mouth of one child and restraining that child and two others with soundproofing mats on multiple occasions as they worked as a teacher and an aide at a Greensburg-Salem elementary school. After the hearing, police said that charges could come against two people who were called as witnesses.
