State police have arrested three people for passing counterfeit $100 bills around Indiana County, while a fourth suspect remains at large. Troopers say that several counterfeit bills were passed on Sunday at various businesses along Oakland Avenue as the suspects used the large denominations to pay for smaller items. Charges are pending against the three who have been arrested, but a fourth remains at large. He is described by police as a white, hispanic male around 19-20 years of age with medium length dark hair, and was seen at an Aldi foods store wearing glasses, a blue Calvin Klein sweatshirt, blue sweatpants and dark colored shoes. Police ask anyone with information on the suspect to call them at 724-357-1960.
