Westmoreland County’s GOP Commissioners say they will not consider using drop boxes for mail-in ballots at the courthouse or at remote locations in the county for this year’s elections. Kertes and Commissioner Doug Chew said the issue was dead for the year, despite nearly 12 people showing up at an election board meeting to lobby for drop boxes.
