SOME STATE LAWMAKERS TRYING TO EXPAND DOLLY PARTON’S IMAGINATION LIBRARY

Some state lawmakers are trying to expand Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in Pennsylvania. Three Democratic legislators in the House and Senate have introduced bills to support more resources for the program. Over 53-thousand children in 44 counties currently are enrolled in it. But the lawmakers say nearly 650-thousand more kids are eligible to take part.
