Greensburg-Salem school board is set to vote next week on whether to move forward with a new contractor for an outdoor classroom project. The Trib reports that previous bids for contracting were deemed too high, but the district looks to go with RIT Contracting for labor and materials to build the pavillion at a cost of $37,500. The new contract was obtained through the state COSTARS cooperative buying program. The district is looking at breaking down the project into individual phases to make it more affordable.
