The son of an 80-year-woman allegedly killed by a Harrison nurse at a nursing facility in Butler Township is accusing the facility of being negligent and reckless in hiring her. The Trib reports that the accusation came from Keith Laskovich, who said his mother Marguerite was killed by Heather Presdee via an overdose of insulin 45 days after she was admitted to the facility. The lawsuit claims that Sunnyview nursing facility in Butler County had managerial and operational negligence in hiring her despite “abusive tendencies and behavior toward residents and staff” at the facilities where she previously worked. It accuses the facility of corporate negligence, vicarious disability and wrongful death.
