MANORDALE FARMS RESIDENTS SIGN PETITION

Over 250 residents of the Manordale Farms area have signed a petition in opposition of putting an auto body shop in the neighborhood. The Trib reports that Caliber Collision submitted a proposal for the location just east of the development in Murrysville, but those who signed the petition object to the potential traffic, noise, smells and dirt that may be caused by the business’ presence. Attorneys for Murrysville and for the developer told council that the area is a permitted use for the business-zoned property and from a legal standpoint, they have done everything right for approval. They added that the client is willing to abide by additional conditions for the property.
