A traffic stop in New Stanton on Monday lead to a drug bust where police found 273 pounds of marijuana. The Trib reports that Qingxue Guo of Texas and Tingting Huang, who did not have an address listed, were driving a minivan when police noticed they had an illegal window tint. When police stopped them, Guo refused to let police search the vehicle. A police dog alerted officers to the presence of drugs. After getting a search warrant for the van, police found the marijuana and two guns. Both men were denied bail and are being held in Westmoreland County Jail. Preliminary hearings are set for March 20th.
