FORMER GS PRINCIPAL HONORED

Former Greensburg-Salem Principal David Zilli was honored by the State House of Representatives. The Trib reports that State Representative Jill Cooper presented the honors to Zilli at a school board meeting earlier this month, honoring his 15 years as principal and 35 years in education. In accepting the award, Zilli emphasized the teamwork of his colleagues at the district. Zilli retired in 2023 but he remains involved with the district in some capacity, including working with the Greensburg-Salem Education Foundation.
