A Greensburg man was ordered to serve time in prison for robbing a bank in Hempfield. The Trib reports that 31-year-old Jonathan Smith, Jr. will serve up to five years in prison for a guilty plea on charges of robbery, theft, receiving stolen property and terroristic threats. On November 24, 2021, he slipped a note to a teller demanding money and walked out with $3200 in cash. Smith was identified by the lettering on his face mask and through DNA evidence collected from the index card, according to court records.
