The Westmoreland County Commissioners have pushed back their upcoming night meeting by one week. The Trib reports that a scheduling conflict prevents the meeting to be held at 7 PM this Thursday, so they have postponed it one week to April 11th at 7 PM at the county courthouse. Responding to public calls for more accessible meetings, the commissioners shifted four meeting times and locations throughout 2024. In addition to this month’s night meeting, commissioners will conduct an evening meeting on June 6 at Northmoreland Park in Allegheny Township and Aug. 22 at Cedar Creek Park in Rostraver. Commissioners will also head out to Westmoreland County Community College near Youngwood for a meeting at 10 AM on July 18th.
