SECTION OF ROUTE 66 CLOSED DUE TO LANDSLIDE

A section of State Route 66 between Vandergrift and Leechburg is closed due to a landslide.  PennDOT shut down the route at Jefferson Street and First Street in Parks Township yesterday evening.  There is not currently an estimated time on when it will reopen.  Commuters are asked to use Route 56 and the Route 56 Bypass in the area of South Leechburg Hill.
