CHILD HIT BY A CAR ON SATURDAY NIGHT

A Three-year-old child was hit by a car on Saturday night in East Vandegrift.  KDKA TV reports that the accident happened around 7:40 PM on Panther Way near McKinley Avenue.  Westmoreland County 911 said the child was conscious and alert when EMTs arrived.  He was flown from the scene to Children’s Hospital.  An investigation is underway.
