The Ligonier Valley Police Commission is looking over a proposal to move the police headquarters to a new location. The Trib reports that the proposal came from township resident and former state trooper Greg Sullenberger. The station would be near routes 711 and 30. He said that either a combination of the two municipalities or the police commission would pay $200,000 and would own the building. The rest of the $2 million cost would be covered by an anonymous private donor.
