Jeannette is considering repairs to a fire truck that was damaged in order to keep insurance rates in check. The Trib reports that they would need to use some of its budget for $20,000 worth of repairs to a truck that took on heat damage in a fire on March 20th on Guy Street that killed four children and their father. The truck failed a safety inspection after the fire and is in the midst of being repaired. While the truck will be brought back up to code, they will not do any cosmetic repairs to the truck.
