STATE POLICE INVESTINGATING DISAPPEARANCE OF $88K FROM NEW ALEXANDRIA BOROUGH

In Westmoreland County, state police are investigating the disappearance of 88-thousand dollars in public funds from New Alexandria Borough. The borough is working to recover some of the losses through a surety bond. In response to the financial loss, borough officials have already eliminated a full-time maintenance position and canceled a cell phone.
