A Jeannette couple is helping the city’s fire department get one of their trucks repaired. TribLive reports George and Lynn Croce have donated ten-thousand dollars to cover about half of the work needed to put a ladder truck back in service after it was damaged as firefighters responded to the blaze that killed a father and three of his children last month. The heat from the flames caused various problems with the truck’s ladder, lifting jack, and other parts, according to Fire Chief Bill Frye. George and Lynn Croce own the Westmoreland Medical Equipment Company and they have supported the city’s fire department in the past, according to local officials.
