SIMPLE ASSAULT CHARGES HELD FOR COURT AGAINST SUSPENDED STATE TROOPER

Charges of simple assault and harassment have been held for court against a suspended state trooper.  The Trib reports that 31-year-old Nicholas Hood faces charges of simple assault and harassment for an incident on August 26th.  The victim testified that Hood threw her to the ground and covered her mouth to prevent her from screaming.  No word on when the trial will be held.
