SOUTH GREENSBURG MAN CHARGED IN CONNECTION WITH 2023 CRASH

A man from South Greensburg was charged in connection with a crash in July that left one person seriously injured.  The Trib reports that 63-year-old Victor Machesky, Jr. was allegedly under the influence when he drove his truck over the median of Route 30 in Hempfield and collided with an oncoming vehicle.  The other driver was hospitalized with serious injuries.  Machesky is free on $25,000 unsecured bail. A preliminary hearing is set for May 15.
