The company that produces Legos says they will not be moving forward with production of a set with a “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood” theme. Fan-submitted projects, like the proposed Mister Rogers set, must receive support from 10-thousand individuals to be considered for production by LEGO’s review board and this one did. The company says however that they have decided not to put the set into production. The long-running popular childrens’ program, Mister Rogers Neighborhood, was created and hosted by Latrobe native Fred Rogers who died in 2003.
