Governor Shapiro announced a state grant to help fund a new industrial park in Westmoreland County. The Trib reports the governor visited the former Keystone Coal and Coke property in Hempfield Township yesterday to speak about the 2-point-five-million-dollar investment that is on the way through the PA SITES program. Developer Adam Eidemiller, Incorporated plans to turn the vacant 217-acre area into an industrial and distribution hub that can support up to one-million square feet of warehouse space. They believe the site can be ready for new building construction in about three years.
