Laywers for the man accused of shooting a pub owner in Lower Burrell claims that his client is not competent to stand trial. KDKA-TV reports that Nathan Salem is accused of killing David “Mogie” Magill, the owner of Mogie’s Irish Pub back on December 21st. Charges of criminal homicide were held for trial in February. Salem’s lawyers are awaiting a judge’s ruling to get mental health care for him and they want the case put on hold until a competency hearing is conducted.
