TWO PEOPLE HURT IN FRIDAY CRASH

Two people were hurt in a crash Friday afternoon that involved a Ligonier Valley School Bus. The Trib reports that the rear-end crash happened along Route 711 north of Ligonier as the bus rear-ended a car at the intersection with Muir Road. None of the 26 students on the bus were hurt, but a teen driver and a passenger in the car were taken to Independence Latrobe hospital for treatment. The car was disabled and had to be towed, while the bus took on minor damage.
