Defense attorneys for a Breckenridge man charged with murdering his 9-year-old son are asking the court to dismiss the charges. The Trib reports The body of young Azuree Charles was found in a wooded area not far from his New Kensington home just hours after he was reported missing on May 4th of 2022. Azuree’s father, Jean Charles, is charged with first-degree murder. The defendant’s attorneys are saying in court this week that their client has been denied his right to a speedy trial while prosecutors are blaming the defense for delays in the case. The judge has not yet ruled on the motion.
