A Southwest Greensburg man now faces charges in connection with his son’s death last July at a home in Mt. Pleasant Township. The Trib reports that 38-year-old Jason F. Ludwig was arrested yesterday on charges of concealing the death of a child, obstruction, child endangerment and tampering with evidence. State police say he hid his eight-month-old son’s death after falling asleep with the child on a couch. Ludwig told police initially that he put the child in the crib, but the child’s mother supplied police with text messages admitting to not putting him in the crib. He is free on $10,000 bail, with a preliminary hearing set for June 3rd.
