ARNOLD STABBING VICTIM IDENTIFIED

Authorities have named the suspect and victim in a stabbing Sunday evening in Arnold.  The Trib reports that coroner Tim Carson identified the victim as 73-year-old Diana Rebold, who was allegedly stabbed by her son, 38-year-old Brian in the middle of Liberty Avenue.  Carson pronounced her dead at 7:30 PM.  Police confirmed that it was a family incident that turned violent.  Brian identified himself to police as their suspect.  He is now in Westmoreland County Jail on charges of criminal homicide and first-degree murder.  Bail was denied due to the charges.
