NORTH HUNTINGDON DRUG STING LEADS TO ARRESTS

A drug sting in North Huntingdon led police to arrest two suspects in the attempted sale of drugs to an undercover officer.  Court papers state the suspects — 30-year-old Austin Moore of McKeesport and 32-year-old Deandre Thomas of Pittsburgh — are being held in the Westmoreland County Prison.  The undercover officer worked with the state Attorney General’s office and local police to set up the sale with Thomas.  They seized six bricks of heroin and fentanyl, crack cocaine and cocaine.
