A West Newton man will serve up to ten years in prison for a three-year crime spree. The Trib reports that 33-year-old Shayne Moore pleaded guilty to nine charges over four separate cases. The cases include an incident on May 4th, 2021 where he assaulted a man with a baseball bat, a July 4th 2022 theft of an American Flag in Madison, a June 20, 2023 incident with police where he was accused of illegal possession of a firearm and harassment and threatning a woman last August. Moore this week was sentenced by Westmoreland County Common Pleas Court Judge Christopher Feliciani to serve concurrent sentences that total 4 to 10 years in prison.
