PARKING LOT EXPANSION AT NORVELT BALLFIELD

The parking lot of a ballfield in Mt. Pleasant has seen an expansion of its parking lot thanks to the help of a PennDOT contractor.  The Trib reports that work on the lot at the Norvelt ball field started August 6th as the result of a partnership that came together quickly with Walsh Construction, with the township providing the stone for the lot extension and Walsh donating the labor.  The expansion was needed as the park is seeing an uptick in activity.
