PENNDOT TO LOWER SPEED LIMIT ALONG ROUTE 366 IN UPPER BURRELL TOWNSHIP

PennDOT is planning to lower the speed limit along Route 366 in Upper Burrell Township.  Transportation officials conducted a traffic study in the area following reports of safety concerns from local leaders and residents.  Based on the results of that study, the department decided to drop the speed limit from 55 to 45 through Plum to Old Greensburg Road.  Officials from PennDOT say they will get the new speed limit signs made and installed as soon as the materials are available.
