JEANNETTE K-9 DIESEL IS BACK WITH HIS PARTNER

After three weeks at a kennel, Jeannette K-9 officer Diesel is back with his partner, Sgt. Jim Phillips.  The Trib reports that Diesel was housed in the kennel after city officials shut down the program saying the costs outweighed the expenses.  Mayor Curtis Antoniak said that the program should be restored as it pained him to see Diesel being moved to another kennel, and benefactors have come forward to help support the program.  The two are expected back at work on Thursday.
