PA TURNPIKE EXPECTING TO SEE HIGHEST NUMBER OF LABOR DAY TRAVELERS TODAY

Officials with the Pennsylvania Turnpike are expecting to see the highest number of Labor Day travelers today.  The are anticipating about 720-thousand cars and trucks on the route through tonight.  Additional Geico Safety Patrol teams will be out on the turnpike this weekend and all construction work is being suspended until Monday at 11:00 p.m.  Turnpike leaders say they estimate nearly three-million travelers will use the tollway though Monday.
