A family is left homeless after a fire in Lower Burrell yesterday. The Trib reports that the fire was reported around 11 AM at a home at 235 Michigan Avenue. Most of the family was out of the house already, but one child in the house was able to get out when the fire started. Lower Burrell Fire Department Deputy Chief Scott Gloer declared the home a complete loss. The fire started in the kitchen and was ruled accidental. No injuries were reported. The Red Cross is assisting the family.
