MT PLEASANT WOMAN AQUITTED

A Mt. Pleasant woman was acquitted by a Westmoreland County jury on charges of aggravated and simple assault, reckless endangerment and leaving the scene of a crash.  The Trib reports that 28-year-old Nicole Moore was charged with running over and injuring a woman two years ago in a Scottdale apartment building parking lot in April of 2022.  Moore was found guilty of reckless driving.  The victim, Tiara Stout, claimed race played a factor in the verdict as she is black and the jury was all-white.
