Ligonier Valley High School was evacuated Wednesday after it received a bomb threat. WTAE-TV reports the incident was reported yesterday afternoon. Superintendent Tim Kantor said the high school received a report on Tuesday that a student had made a bomb, but no actual threat had been made. The district searched the building and said the claim was unsubstantiated. The threat came on Wednesday, causing the evacuation and a second sweep of the building that again yielded no explosives. The district is working with local law enforcement to investigate the threat. Classes will resume as normal today, with counselors available to students who need assistance.
